Zoe Coulombe

The hat I'm wearing is motion graphics. This is an important skill as a graphic designer because it gives us the ability to showcase our work though video. You can take a brand, product, or advertisement to the next level using this skill and it is a great way to make a piece more memorable and comprehensive.

Stay Purified

Print Design

Advertising

Stay Purified is a campaign created to celebrate the 2020 Year of Plant Health. My solution was to used a series of air purifying plants such as bamboo, aloe vera, Chinese evergreen and English ivy.

I chose to use these plants because they represent plant health in many ways, whether is be towards humans or plant life.

I wanted the overall look of this to be very organic and to almost look like it was made on recycled paper.

Uride rebrand

Hats:

Branding

Adaptability

Advertising

Uride needed a rebrand that captured the friendliness and energy of this company. Their previous logo used alot of aggressive colors and didn't get the message across as well as it could.

The unique icon gives them a symbol that stands out for their brand.

I used the “U” in URIDE to create a simple arrow that shows the movement of traffic and traffic signs. I changed the colors to an electric blue to show energy and friendliness.

Love-a-bull awareness campaign

Branding

Print Design

Love-A-Bull is an awareness campaign made for the stigmatism around Pitbulls in Ontario. In 2005 a ban across Ontario was made against Pitbulls and many still believe that their breed is what makes them aggressive.

This campaign is to bring positivity towards this breed and to make people aware that it is not the breed it is the owner.

I used the words loveable and Pitbull to create the unique identity “Love-A-bull” and I used bold but playful colours to help get the message across that this topic is serious but not aggressive.
