This logo was a project during my internship with Fuel Media. Ultimately the company chose to go in a different direction but the owner felt I had nailed the brief and would have chosen this one over what the client ultimately ending up going with.
I have changed the name of the company for privacy. The relevant information about this specific company is they specialize in alimak mining. This is relevant because this logo mark has symbolism directly related to this specific kind of mining.
The bar above represents the surface and the inner columns of the M represent structure and support, while also giving a subtle nod towards alimak mining.

High school doesn’t prepare people for adulthood. There are not many practical classes, and the ones they do offer, the importance is not emphasized. Many adults enter adulthood without knowing how to change a tire, do their taxes, budget their money, etc. They are not equipped to handle many adult situations and need that knowledge to be successful.
I am creating a platform that teaches adults how to handle adult situations and make them more independent. My target audience is young adults just entering the adult world whether through high school or college.
