If you could be any Pantone Colour, which would you be?

I would be pantone grey because grey is the color I wear the most. It has an elegant and neutral color harmony compared to other colors. Using a fine amount of grey can greatly benefit a work of art. I used to love vibrant colors when I first start drawing but after being an art student for 10 years I learned that grey is a color that really determines the quality of a painting. It’s also the color of charcoal, which is a common tool I use in sketching; therefore, every design starts from grey. Grey is the color that represents myself. It symbolizes professional, mature and humble.

White Sake

Based on the understanding of Asian culture, it is necessary to present the beauty of traditional Asian art in sake labels. Using a brush pen to meticulous hand draw a phoenix and red-crowned crane that symbolizes fortune and good luck, and also shows the central Asian aesthetics: simplicity, emptiness, and elegance. In order to add more value to the brand I also hand-wrote the Asian character for “White Bird” to make it is unique and stand out.

Mask Magazine

Mask is a portrait photography/photoshop magazine targeted to photography fans between the ages of 18-35. By showing a double exposure photo on the cover and experiment with different fonts and layouts for the spreads it would attract the target audience and convey the tone of the magazine, which is contemporary, fashionable, modern, and professional.

The Fountainhead Poster

A movie poster design based on the novel by Ayn Rand. The idea is to show the internal spirit of Howard Roark, and every time he starts a new project by sketching the dynamic blueprint lines.
