My original idea was to have an app that would allow fans to support bands when things go wrong on tour. Whether this was through crowdfunding or some other method, the idea became too convoluted and missed the target concept throughout. I decided to completely rework this concept into something that made sense.

Then I thought, what if an application existed that would help musicians write and demo songs—kind of like how an artist uses a sketchbook to capture an idea.

The identity for this project stayed the same with some small revisions. Specifically, the strokes were thickened to make it legible at a small size.

The application would be for mobile devices. Using it would allow you to share recordings with friends or strangers, and collaborate on music. Each user has a designated colour. These colours "paint" the waveform until you end up with these gradated collaborative songs.

Software instruments are included, to make composing a song more accessible while people are on the go.

Stationary applications would be necessary, and help make this app more marketable.
