EmailThis program is one of the best things that have ever happened to me. I’m proud to graduating as a graphic designer. However, just prepare to lose sleep, eating habits, and a social life. But still… WORTH IT!
Used elements from the Jamaican National Crest. Brought a bolder, modern mixed with tradition look to the new package design.
The Concept is in celebration of the origin of fruits and vegetables and where our food comes from and the people who farm it. Therefore, the stamps have each continent carved into each food in celebration of its origin, excluding Antarctica. Collectors Item and the First-Day Cover are the inverse of each carving and are used to make a map. Posters and Ad campaigns are to provide reach and awareness to the event Field Gatherers. Field Gathers is the event inspired by the international year of family farming. Field Gathers is devoted to the history and origin of each fruit and vegetable. This event will have an Interactive Farmers market outside with Banners (same graphics as posters) displaying the event. Inside Field Gatherers there will be pieces with the original stamp artwork with facts on each food.
Is a Magazine that appeals to North American Females 25-60, Middle to Higher income bracket. These people tend to be heath conscious individuals looking for a more natural option to medicines. This magazine is for individuals looking to cleanse, mind, body and soul. Readers of Brown are generally intelligent with a Post Secondary Education. Editorial content will be intelligent articles describing the effects of herbs while maintaining a calming sensation. Descriptions should either convince people to get into herbalism, or further the knowledge of the already herbalists. Clean, simple, minimalist design accompanied with minimalist photography, leaving the consumer with a beautiful depiction of peace and tranquility. I achieved this by having a minimal colour palette.
