The moment when I realized that Graphic Design was my clan and designers were my people, that was the sweetest moment. Then I had to come to terms with my excitement over typefaces and logos sounding like insane rambling to everyone else. Bittersweet but I wouldn’t have it any other way.
The Saint Lucia National Trust is responsible for the environmental, historical and cultural preservation in Saint Lucia. The redesigned identity is representative of the Saint Lucian Whiptails Lizard, an endemic species who’s colours are the inspiration for the national flag. The goal was to create a update logo that would instil a sense of trust and pride.
The approach was to create a more infographic based ad, in order to help convey the difference between incandescent and fluorescent bulb, and the new combination halogen-fluorescent bulb, and communicate it benefits. The ads draw a comparison between making a smart choice in light bulbs to being on a higher plane of knowledge.
The “Her Chance” campaign aim to inform individuals about the unethical treatment of women in the G20 nations. The campaign uses impactful facts and high contrast colours in order to be provocative and increase discussions about women rights and equality.
